INNOPROM-2016, the Main International Industrial Trade Fair in Russia, will be held on July 11-14 and yet again will determine the trends in the country's industrial development, showcase cutting edge technologies produced by Russian and foreign companies, and serve as the most representative national site for the discussion of the country's industrial policies and b2b interaction with international partners.
INNOPROM THEME
Industrial Net, the 2016 theme, is currently the most relevant topic at all international forums. The combination of INDUSTRY + INTERNET is one of the main drivers behind the new industrial revolution that will facilitate the creation of highly efficient digital production facilities. Russia's top government officials and heads of major international industrial companies will discuss the Industrial Net theme at the main strategic session of INNOPROM.
Nowadays, industrial net stands for steady integration of material and digital worlds. It creates a new macrolevel where cutting edge technologies mold equipment, products, supply chains, and consumer expectations into a separate communication network which manages the production process and delivers top performance levels. Thus, it promotes a new and modern industrial environment that dramatically changes the competitive landscape. Therefore, companies' success now depends on how quickly they can adapt to the changes.
That much can be deduced from international research data on Industrial Internet. Leading western corporations spend 20-30% of their development budget on the implementation of industrial net technologies, and 84% of companies that contributed to the research feel that such expenses are necessary and set the development of industrial net technologies as their priority goal for next year.
INNOPROM PROGRAM
INNOPROM organizers are working hard to provide the best possible conditions for business interaction. For the first time, the exhibition will be held on working days only (from Monday to Thursday) for its participants' convenience in creating an optimal schedule of negotiations. The INNOPROM grand opening ceremony will be held in the evening of Sunday, July 10. Traditionally, event organizers will present a technology show that explains the 2016 theme, and the partner country will supply a short, but vibrant performance.
Approximately 200 events, presentations, meetings, and press conferences on the most relevant issues will be held over the course of four days. Key exhibition and business program sections include:

In 2016, international companies will actively participate in traditional special projects at INNOPROM. Every annual special project involves an exhibition and a series of business events united under a single theme. The special projects include Metropolitan Technologies, the International Forum on Global Industrial Design, and PROFI. Education Industry Solutions.
For the first time, INNOPROM business program will include a Financial and Industrial Forum dedicated to financing production facilities in Russia. Most sustainable companies are interested in procuring long-term loans for development and export projects, especially after the introduction of sanctions against Russian banks and the Bank of Russia tightening its regulatory policies. The Main International Industrial Trade Fair in Russia will set a precedent by bringing together all interested parties, including CEOs of banks and major industrial companies and the heads of leading industry support institutions. The Financial and Industrial Forum is sponsored by the Industry Development Fund and the Association of Russian Banks.
INNOPROM traditional services include technology guided tours along the exhibition and the Global Investment Lounge for holding VIP-negotiations and business meetings.
The exhibition will be open 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM every day.
PARTNER COUNTRY
India will organize a vast national display and bring in a large group of business program participants (over 120 companies), including heads of large, medium, and small companies, state governors, and heads of business associations. The Indian delegation will be led by Nirmala Sitharaman, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry.
INNOPROM business program will start on July 11 with the Russia-India business forum attended by Russian and Indian authorities and major business leaders. INNOPROM program involves a number of bilateral events on machine building, pharmaceuticals, mining, and industrial IT. Moreover, Indian experts will take part in the general business program of the exhibition.
Upon India's request, its regions will have an opportunity to showcase their achievements at INNOPROM. Heads of leading Indian states will be promoting their territories to potential Russian residents and investors.
MAIN NATIONAL EXHIBITION
In spite of the current geopolitical situation, it is clear that international companies still perceive INNOPROM as a major business event, a way into the Russian market, and the best site for holding industrial premieres. Over 600 major global and Russian manufacturers, such as Fanuc, Kuka, DuPont, Mitsubishi Electric, Cisco Systems, PTC, General Electric, Schneider Electric, HIWIN, DB Sсhenker, Siempelkamp, Rostec, Shvabe, Sinara Group, Renova Group, etc., will present their innovative technologies.
World leaders traditionally save their premieres for INNOPROM. This time, Fanuc and Cisco will present their latest joint product, a technologically safe industrial network that integrates all equipment types, and Kuka will unveil its mobile automated Mecanum system that provides a dramatic performance boost.
INTERNATIONAL INNOPROM
In 2016, INNOPROM will expand its geography: the Main International Industrial Trade Fair in Russia will host the 3rd Russia-China EXPO, which used to be held in Harbin, but this year will take place in Ekaterinburg for the first time. Over 200 companies will participate in the exhibition and business program of Russia-China EXPO. Wang Yang, the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, will be leading the delegation. The Russian side will be represented by Dmitry Rogozin, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
Italy and the Czech Republic will also present their national displays at INNOPROM. Moreover, the business program will include Russia-Italy, Russia-Korea, Russia-Germany, Russia-Kazakhstan, and Russia-Africa business forums.
MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE AT INNOPROM
INNOPROM upholds its status of the main experimental site of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Denis Manturov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, will participate in all major business events, chair the Strategic Council on Investments in New Industries that will be attended by the heads of Russian and international companies, and take part in the Coordination Council with Russian regional authorities.
Throughout the exhibition, department heads and leading experts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will be available in the Open Office format at the Ministry’s stand.
EXPO-2017 PRESENTATION
INNOPROM business program includes the Presentation of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2017 themed Future Energy and hosted by Astana, Kazakhstan. General EXPO Commissars from Russia and Kazakhstan and top Russian and international energy experts will take part in the presentation and unveil the Russian display theme.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
On July 10, the day before the opening of the Main International Industrial Trade Fair in Russia, Pine Creek Golf Resort will host the INNOPROM GOLF CHALLENGE, an international golf tournament for Russian and international VIP-participants, including the president of the Russian Golf Association Viktor Khristenko, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov, ministers of industry and trade of other countries participating in INNOPROM, and the heads of Russian and international companies. Guests who do not play golf will have the opportunity to enjoy a cultural program.
